Wine Tastings
Over the coming months I will be organising a number of tastings. At present it seems likely that most of these will be around Lincoln and London. I will be posting details of these events in the near future.
However, you don't have to wait. You can be proactive, and organise your own event. I will put together tailor-made tastings for clients anywhere in the country, and bring the whole experience to your door. All you need is a group of friends (minimum 10 people) who fancy an evening of wine-tasting. Prices start from £15 per person.
So, whether you fancy I slightly different party event. A team building programme for your business, or an educational evening, just contact me and I'll gladly put together a wine tasting to suit your needs, and your budget.
Forthcoming Events
TBC - The Glamorgan, Cherry Orchard Rd, Croydon. The dynamic South African duo, Grant & Kathleen, will provide some fantastic food, and I will select the wines to match. The idea is to have an enjoyable evening, while learning why some food and wine pairings work while others don't. Great value at £15 per head.

Tours for 2010
After a gap of three years, Arblaster & Clarke have asked me to lead a tour to the wine regions of Washington and Oregon. I am thrilled to be returning to what is one of the most exciting wine regions in the world. This is one of the few regions where you can still meet the legendary figures that established the area as a force in the wine world. The wines are top quality and we will visit producers such as Domaine Drouhin, Argyle, Ponzi and Amity. Washington produces fantastic wines from the Bordeaux and Rhone varietals, while Oregon is home to some of the world's finest Pinot Noirs. The visit will coincide with the annual Pinot Noir Conference, which offers a splendid opportunity to taste a fantastic range of Pinot Noirs from around the world. Also, offers a great opportunity to explore Seattle.
I am pleased to announce that I will also be leading a tour to New Zealand again next year. To get a flavour of what the tour offers, take a look at my New Zealand feature. This really is a great trip to the country where, to misquote Garrison Keillor, all the wines are above average.
I will also be leading a trip to South Africa in November 2010. I will be visiting a number of exciting up and coming producers in the Cape, including time in Cape Town, Constantia, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Robertson and Hermanus.
I will be leading a tour to the Ay Festival on the week-end of 2nd-4th July. This is always great fun. We do a number of visits around the area, but also spend time at the festival, where you can meander from Bollinger to Gosset, to Deutz, to Roger Brun. In addition to Champagne there is music, fireworks and great company.
