A delight. Opulent red fruit, supported by velvet-smooth, ripe tannins. This is very adaptable, an ideal partyt wine, it also has enough character to accompany festive food.
Full-bodied, fruit driven, yet really well structured. Classic Port
grapes deliver succulent, brambly fruit, with velvety smooth tannins.
This is truly fantastic value.

Fantastic value for mature claret. Soft truffly fruit on nose and palate.
Flavours of plums and cassis are matched by ripe tannins. This
has now evolved and developed secondary flavours - complex and harmonious.

Classy Cabernet. Cedarwood and minty aromas lead to sweet
blackcurrant fruit and well structured ripe tannins and understated oak character.
Vacqueyras, Cuvée des Templiers, 2006
Mature Rioja, drinking perfectly now. Still some red fruit character
evident on both nose and palate. Well integrated oak and secondary
herbaceous flavours are starting to add tremendous complexity.
Still youthful and bristling with power. Ripe dark and red fruits
mingle with sweet oakiness, all matched to a firm backbone of tannins.
Attractive now but will keep for years.
